Meg Learmonth is a 21 year old UK based Session Drummer. She studied at the renowned London British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM London) for 3 years, before cutting her BMus “Popular Music Performance” (Drumming) studies short and joining Grammy award-winning artist Mura Masa on a headline tour around the World.
She has performed with the likes of Slowthai⁺, Lozeak, Clairo⁺, Nao⁺, Georgia⁺, Daniel Briskin (Support tour with Tom Grennan) and Cosha⁺ on prestigious stages including O2 Brixton (London) for the 2020 NME Awards, AFAS Live (Amsterdam), O2 Academy Shepherd’s Bush (London), O2 Victoria Warehouse (Manchester), Columbiahalle (Berlin) and most notably London’s Alexandra Palace. This performance will always be cherished by Meg, as she says: “I used to work at Alexandra Palace as a bartender. I watched a lot of musicians there that I look up to - I probably watched a little bit too much and should have focused more on my job! I would always dream of being up on the stage doing what I truly love and to find out Ally Pally was the opening date of the whole (Mura Masa) tour was incredible. I will never forget it.”

Meg also has television performance experience at the highest level, having performed on the internationally acclaimed New York-based “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with UK sensation Slowthai.
